Senator John McCain (R-Arizona) is raging mad at MSNBC host Chuck Todd, who was reportedly caught joking about McCain having "heart palpitations" upon discovering former General David Petraeus opposed further intervention in Iraq.
The alleged hot mic incident occurred Thursday before President Barack Obama announced he would send a limited force of 300 advisers in Iraq. According to Mediaite, Todd and Fox News' Ed Henry mocked McCain over Petraeus' Wednesday warning against further intervention in Iraq.

Can't argue with that statement.
Thanks, John, for showing such passion during your presidential campaign. /drippingsarc
Everyone but Cindy wants McCain to retire.
People in AZ can’t get enough pain from McPain, but let’s hope the Mississippians have THad Enough.
Senator John McCain (RINO-Arizona) is raging mad...
Haven’t we seen some incidences of McCain and his friends in the media joke with another about his health (particularly when he had surgery).. Many people know he is a useful tool (sorry, to be so blunt) for the left. He has this notion in his mind that they respect him. I can image they must laugh behind his back of how easily that he can be played.
If he had been a true conservative, he would have won the presidency. Without Palin on his ticket, he would never got as far as he did. And, as I recall, he and his handlers put a muff of her.
It is going to be swell when he retires and a person with a solid conviction represents the state of Arizona because he has given too much away to his opposing side (if he ever disagreed with them). ( I don’t wish him any ill will to his health)
I’m starting to like Chuck Todd. LOL!!!
Poor John McCain.......thinks he is still a média darling. So sorry John, they only like you when you are slamming Republicans!
Why would she care? I think that McCain’s salary is probably peanuts to her....
Todd was no doubt referring to McCain being really rude on Morning Shmoe the other day. McCain kept repeating the glories of Petraeus. I never thought I could have sympathy for MSNBC weenies, but McCain was off his meds.
Petraeus coming out like this is perfect. I’m with Todd on this one.
So she doesn’t have to live with the old goat!
Anything Obama’s done make you “Very Upset,” Juan?
Ha.
What makes you think people in AZ will send someone good to D.C. if McPain retires; they seldom if ever have.
Phoenix area is chock full of former Kalifornia screwel teechurs.
