The only ones that I see trying to destroy the game of football is football's ex-players. The NFL’s biggest challenge in the next decades is to defend itself from being sued out of existence by its own players. The problem they have is that no matter how many times they settle in court with a group of ex-players, there will always be another group coming up to sue again.

Soccer fans in the US love the NFL. The two biggest boosters of the beautiful game have been Lamar Hunt and the Kraft family. These titans of the NFL literally bankrolled the latest tide of American soccer enthusiasm.
