From the moment these illegals enter the country, they are made to be dependent upon Government handouts and welfare payments
These payments have the net effect of subsidizing the Illegal alien's low wage lifestyle with Government hand out money which allows them to work at jobs for wages much lower than the Middle Class Americans with whom they compete for jobs and wages.
This amounts to a one - two punch to the gut for Middle Class Americans.
First, middle class wages are suppressed and driven down due to job competition from an infinite supply of cheap imported labor due to the massive influx of illegal aliens
Second, middle class wages are suppressed and driven down even further because the Federal Government is subsidizing the wages of this infinite supply of cheap imported labor by providing them welfare payments that allow them to accept work at wages below the actual local cost of living in a given area. These Government welfare payments have the added effect of making the new illegal immigrants totally dependent upon the government to help them make ends meet because they are working below cost.
The net effect of the combination of these two wage deflators is devastating and is destroying the number of good paying jobs for all Americans, especially the middle class
This is the ultimate business subsidy because American business is getting a constant , unlimited (just ask Joe Biden) supply of cheap government subsidized unskillled illegal immigrant labor .
The bitter irony of it all is that the American Middle Class is providing the bulk of the tax money that is going to subsidize the destruction of the wages of the good paying jobs the Middle Class depend upon for their livelihood .
Business gets access to cheap, government subsidized low wage labor
Government gets a new class of uneducated but mobilizable voters with Third World voting habits who are totally dependent and controlled by government welfare payments
The American Middle Class gets screwed because their tax dollars are paying for the Government welfare subsidies to the glut of illegal aliens in the labor pool which are driving down their wages and destroying the American Middle Class lifestyle.
The Government is also trying to repeat this viscous cycle with the job segment for higher paying, more skilled jobs using the H1-B visa programs
