PALIN: GOP SUPPORT FOR AMNESTY MAKES ME WANT TO RENOUNCE TIES TO PARTY
Breitbart's Big Government ^ | June 19, 2014 | Tony Lee

Like many conservatives and American workers, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin said that the Republican establishment's embrace of amnesty for llegal immigrants is the one issue that is making her think about renouncing her ties to the GOP.

Palin has always spoken for American workers who are pro-free markets and against the permanent political class. And amnesty, as Dave Brat said after he ousted House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) last week, is the biggest issue that divides the bipartisan Wall Street elites from Main Street.

Palin, echoing the voice of blue-collar workers who sit at home when establishment "Wall Street" Republicans are nominated, said the amnesty "issue is just about driving me to renounce my Republican ties because, see, even leaders on the RIGHT side of the aisle haven’t exerted all Constitutional power to stop the madness."

I have a theory as to why Republicans keep on going for amnesty. Illegal immigration is like a relief valve for Mexico. The ruling elite of Mexico are quite rich and don’t want some revolution ruining their tidy lives. Perhaps they are paying Republicans (And RATS of course) under the table.

“If not a third party now, when?”

After the November election. I suspect the Republicans are keeping their powder dry until then. There’s only 12 legislative days left until the election, and right after the election they vote on their leaders. That’s the vote that counts.

Until then, we’ll see what McCarthy does. Believe it or not, most Republicans in the House are conservative - it’s just that they’re also IDIOTS electing their leadership. The reason they look toothless now is because these “leaders” were plotting to team up with the Dems and the two dozen or so RINOs to get Amnesty passed. It puts a stain on the majority (maybe vast majority) that are not into that crap.

Well, things are different now - they’ve seen their hottest star fall, and fall hard. McCarthy may be as liberal as a Kennedy, but no matter what he tries, he still has to convince enough Republicans that they won’t also get their heads handed to them if they team with the Democrats. That will not be easy.

In any case, we shall watch and see. I much prefer to have conservatives take over the Republican Party, then to split our vote (as we did in 1992) and let another Clinton sneak into office.

“I hope you’re right. Maybe the country can be pulled back from the abyss.”

Don’t understand the Cantor defeat and the fact that he’s still in Congress. The other Republicans, EVERY ONE OF THEM, will still his face there until the end of the term - and will be reminded of what the base can do to them, REGARDLESS of what they thought was their power of incumbency. It may not be obvious to us, here in America (as opposed to DC), but it is obvious to them.

McCarthy as House Majority Leader is insulting. The GOP is squandering its last chance to turn this runaway beast around.

I’m with Sarah. I already changed my registration from Republican to Libertarian. (When there is an actual Tea Party, I will change to it.)

I tear up every piece of mail that comes from the National Republican Committee, without reading it.

Maybe it's time for the Ex-Military, Pro-American, Free Market, Limited Government, Secure our Borders, No Amnesty, Constitutional Patriot Party with Sarah Palin as its leader.

Right on, Sarah. Let’em have it.

When they can’t even follow the rule of law, why support

them?

Sounds good to me!

For starters, there are approximately 21.7 million veterans in the United States. 120 million Americans are fit for service. Throw in the current active duty military number of approximately 1.4 million and 850,000 active reserve equals a lot of Americans.

I would venture to guess if a serious Constitutional Patriot Party were formed, most of the above population would join over time. They would get America back.

I don't know how to change the 2012 to 2016 or I would have.

Sarah, you’re late to the party.

No she isn't. This is a warning shot across the RINO bow. She knows she can't win but she can pull enough votes from the base to prevent the Establishment Wall Streeters from any chance of winning. The margin of victory is very small and both sides know it. This should get their attention.
