When you get as old as me you may also reach the same conclusion as me, that politics is not black and white. There are a lot of shades of gray.
I also have concluded that conservative principles are superior to liberal agenda. However liberal agenda are much easier to sell to the masses. Soak the rich, soak the big corporations, income disparity, clean air, minimum wage, are all liberal mantra’s. It is very difficult to convince the masses the liberal agenda will actually reduce prosperity and have less of everything, especially wages.
So..........I have learned to accept candidates who are significantly more consrvative than the competing democrat. They dot have to agree with me on every issue.
I am getting tired of posters who insist on nominating only the most conservative candidates. I have a long list of very conservative candidates who have lost elections. Likewise RINO’s have also lost elections. In the end the nominees are decided by voters, GOPe is not always the final decider, even 50 times campaign cash does not guarantee nomination as Cantor found out.

So your willing to compromise, to reach across the isle so
to speak. Just what are you willing to give up? A little freedom here, for a little freedom there?
can’t argue with you.
