On a national scale, solar and wind are more or less non factors in the generation of power. And what small amount of power they do generate costs much, much more to produce than coal, gas, hydro and nuclear.

They are more or less toys for liberals.

And coal recycles that essential plant nutrient, carbon dioxide, into the atmosphere so trees can live.

Coal that we mine in Indiana, which can’t be burned here due to EPA regs, is barged down the Mississippi, freightered to Germany, and burned there.
And it’s cheaper than domestic so the “green” Germans buy it.
