HOUSTON, TexasState Representative Debbie Riddle (R-Tomball) told Breitbart Texas she spoke with Governor Rick Perrys (R-TX) Office and they confirmed the surge to deal with the Texas border crisis is about to begin. Details are not available at this time, but Riddle said, It is going to happen.
Riddle spoke with Governor Perrys office about the issue and was assured it is going to be coming soon. She said Governor Perrys office is working very closely with Lt. Governor David Dewhursts office along with the office of House Speaker Joe Straus.
They are gathering together everything they need to begin this right away, Riddle said. She told Breitbart Texas that she could not divulge any information about exactly when, how long, and where the surge would be for reasons of operational security. She also could not disclose what the operational objectives would be at this time.
Riddle said, We are going to feel this particularly here in the Houston area because of Houstons role as a command and control center for the cartels--for both their drug and human trafficking operations. She added that Texas Department of Public Safety Director (DPS) Steve McCraw told her last week that Houston is still the hub for these operations.
Riddle said, Governor Perry is very angry that the feds are doing nothing about this problem. She went on to say, I didnt expect the feds to do anything."(continued)

True, noted from past headaches. :-)
You are such a character. Have a great day. :)
I wouldnt say they are doing nothing. They are fomenting this BS...
Bump. Saw someplace that Valerie Jarrett made a road trip to the epicenter just before the wet "surge" started. Think she went down to Central America .... remember when Jim Wright, the Speaker of the House, went down to Nicaragua to shake hands with "Red" Danny Ortega and pike President Reagan in the back? We called him a traitor and called for his indictment under the Logan Act. But Jarrett can claim both diplomatic status and borrowed authority from the Executive, in doing her worst to subvert our country.
Wonder if they are trying to get these illegals in, in time for 2014 elections, or if they have 2016 in mind? Or just "establishing a principle"? </NewYokkSlimesspeak>
OTOH they could be practicing political MMA, "swarming" us like Trayvon "swarmed" George Zimmermann.
Ms Riddle should have kept her mouth shut.
Worse. He hates America, Norman Rockwell's America that destroyed two hateful military empires, broke the Soviet Union, and went to the moon, with an incandescent hatred. He is the friend of every man who would kill an American or level an American city.
Most here agree with me that Perry is a schmuck. Moreover, he recently praised Hillary. That you or any other Perry supporter have failed to try to defend his doing so has been noted.
Have a nice day.
In Gov. Perry's case, he's made a few -- the Gardasil controversy, the Trans-Texas Corridors, his response to people who objected to in-state tuition for illegals.
Still, on balance, I believe the evidence supports the notion he's been a helluva governor. Under Perry's administration, Texas has been the most successful state in the union -- nobody can argue otherwise.
That said, I'm not a Perry-for-President guy; I'm rooting for Cruz. I recognize that Perry probably isn't conservative by commitment, but more of a conservative by political calculation. However, if he were to win the nomination, I'd support him enthusiastically.
South40 is just one of those enemies Perry has made over the years. The Gardasil controversy (or something) sent him over the edge and blinded him to Perry's larger accomplishments. That's his problem, not mine, and it's his right.
You are right in one respect; I am but one of the many who see Perry for the fraud that he is. Just last week he praised Hillary. A real conservative would never have done that. Nor would a real conservative have worked to keep Ted Cruz from going to Washington. But your boy did that and more. Factor in his history of being pro-ILLEGAL alien and there is ample reason for most here to not like him. I realize there are people like you who are the exception and that is fine. I have no issues with those who fail to see him how I do. But I will continue posting his horrendous history in every thread wherein anyone is presenting him as some sort of conservative savior to the issue of ILLEGAL immigration. With his history of being pro-ILLEGAL alien, Perry is the problem, not the solution.
Will Chuck Norris take part?
The Clintons got lots of immigrants registered as democrats for the ‘92 election. They’ve been given carte blanch by Obama to do it again.
Placemark.
“You would be very welcome in Colorado. We need good people.
To what state are you moving?”
Thanks. We had considered Colorado, it is very beautiful. And has mountains, which we are partial to. And Tom Tancredo, a real patriot, is from there!
After much deliberation and analysis - and visiting many states, we’re going to Tennessee. I firmly believe the rebel south is where the revolution will begin. Again. They are still pissed about the federal government’s heavy handedness after the last revolution. And are heavily armed. And are not so invaded with illegal or liberals that will turn against Constitutional conservatives.
It’s also a good spot for self-sufficient living, with the rainfall and inexpensive acreage. We’ll get little mountains in East Tennessee, but they are still beautiful.
You might take the New Madrid fault into consideration and not purchase or live too close to that. Best wishes.
We’ll be on the other side of the state, in the Appalachians.
Have you seen any new articles about Texas and the border?
I was hoping this would make main stream news. But I don’t even see any follow up here.
My son wants to move to Colorado Springs. Are you near there?
Good for you. Enjoy!
I’ve heard that some of the stores in border towns are either out or low on such things as eggs and milk and peanut butter because the Border Patrol is buying so much of those things. Some agents are spending their own money. Other than that, nothing.
Colo. springs or “The springs” as we call it is a long way from me. It is a nice city and mostly conservative. Fort Carson is there and Schriver Air Force Base. Cheyenne Mountain is there, also. Your son should enjoy it. Where does he live now?
He’s in Bakersfield. I wonder if Colorado has any oil industry? that’s what he’s in now. Although he liked Texas when we were there too.
There is a oil and gas industry here. I think he’d have better chances in Texas but one never knows. Good luck to him.
