If he is permitted to elude justice, he will set the pattern for future evils even worse.
Not only should he be impeached, he should be tried for treason and imprisoned for life.

Ok, Charles, but theyd replace Biden a la Agnew, and with whom? So, toss Biden before he can get a VP confirmed. Then we could set about getting a new Speaker of the House.

Impeachment is a political act, but the objective is to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States of America. If Congress is unwilling to do its duty because it seems futile in terms of who might replace Obama, then they all must go.
No doubt, any impeachment attempt will fail ultimately in the Senate, which will not convict Obama if impeachment gets that far. But what other options are open to curb a tyrannical President who is openly flouting the law and circumventing the legislative process?
