Rep. Raul Labrador on Tuesday made his case to be elected as House majority leader by saying that he can unify the Republican conference better than Rep. Kevin McCarthy... With all due respect, Paul Labrador couldn't unite the Idaho Republican Convention. I'm not sure he could unite the Republicans in Congress.

He couldn’t unite the GOP convention because the Tea Party conservatives wouldn’t back down to the GOPe. IMHO, that is a good thing. We’re fighting back. Perhaps you would prefer a nice fuzzy compromise with the statists?
