Had nothing to do with it. The Protestants were the first to openly support and push gay “marriage” and gay clergy.

Not gonna happen. Pelosi should have been excommunicated a long time ago and instead, She-Satan still flaunts her sinfulness while wearing her Catholicism like a badge.

Interesting that the FRoman Catholics say that there are 35,000* brands of Protestants, but somehow we got together in unity and decided to push gay marriage and clergy.

If you wanna talk in extremes, let's discuss Catholic priests molesting children.

If all Protestants are alike, then all Catholics are alike. This is YOUR church. You need to own it like Catholics try to make all non-Catholics own anything any non-Catholic does.

Ouch! Turn about fair play, and even more so as Rome has a centralized magisterium, yet for decades has implicitly and explicitly sanctioned prosodomite and proabortion/murderers as members in life and in death.

Those aren't "extremes," GC, but some of the biggest, oldest, and most influential Proddie denoms. The Episcopal church since Jamestown was the voice of the WASP elites who ran this country. Now it's the voice of abortion and homo marriage.

The ELCA and PCUSA are in the same place. Somehow one Catholic parish in one diocese going against clearly-stated church teaching indicts every Catholic, but whole, venerable, Proddie denoms going over to the Dark Side, well, that's just water off a duck's back in the wonderful world of "Rome is always wrong" Christianity.

Evangelicals can split off or go to another congregation if they have to. Catholics are stuck with the organization if they want to stay Catholics.

Stay faithful Roman Catholics at least, while the pope can thank an insolent impenitent Ted Kennedy for his prayers, and give him a church funeral, thus interpreting Canon 1184 and its exclusion of ecclesiastical funerals for notorious apostates, and other manifest sinners who cannot be granted ecclesiastical funerals without public scandal of the faithful, as not applying to such as Ted and his tribe.

And it isn’t just Baltimore that is doing this.

Which is known for the Baltimore Catechism. The real edition is in deeds.

You guys quote that constantly, but you know what? The gates of hell ARE prevailing against that organization you call a church.

Actually, even apart from this, it has become (as has liberal Prot churches and weak gospel evangelicals ones) as the gates of Hell for multitudes, due to her different gospel.

The following is from this church's home page:

Embracing God’s Gifts – Tuesday, June 24 gay and lesbian ministry You are invited to join members of our gay and lesbian community in Ignatian Hall at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24. This group is open to anyone interested in fostering support, maintaining communications, and encouraging social activities among diverse members of our parish. We are currently reviewing a piece of literature, discussing it and […]

Having verified that this church -- it's pastor -- is doing this, I'd have him out on his ear in about as long as a phone call takes. Nor am I being judgmental about Catholics, Narses, since I'm United Methodist. I'd do exactly the same with a few of our churches and bishops that I can think of.

Wow. Just ... wow. A Catholic Church celebrating sin. I hope the bishop gets vocal about this.

Rome does not have hidden cameras in each Parish in the world. The only way Rome can find out about this one church is if someone brings it to their attention.

Had nothing to do with it. The Protestants were the first to openly support and push gay “marriage” and gay clergy.

And so just because Protestants allegedly did this first, it's logical that Catholicism would follow suit? It's OK because we're not the first to do it.

Is there no evil that the Catholic church can engage in that its parishioners will not defend them of doing?

Someone else did it first.

Someone else did it, too.

There are more of them than us so we're not so bad.

Meanwhile, the Catholic church has not so openly supported gay clergy and pedophile priests throughout the centuries.

Peter Damian's Book of Gomorrah addresses the immorality in the Catholic clergy that existed CENTURIES before the Protestant Reformation.

St. Peter Damian's Book of Gomorrah: Homosexual Situation Graver than Damian's Time

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-religion/929551/posts

So quit blame shifting. Man up and take responsibility for your church's actions.

Catholics love to brag on Catholicism when it's all rainbows and ponies, but when they have moral issues like this, it's always the other guy's fault.

Are you all supposed to be the sheep or the shepherd?

If the RCC takes the moral high ground, as it does, then it needs to BE the example instead of saying *Do as I say, not as I do.*

OK. Now this is national news.

And just where's the action by the RCC?
