Perry is a fraud.
Funny how that happens. Everyone stomps feet until they realize they might lose a big screen over it. Then they get rather sheepish.
Perry, like nearly all the GOP pols has authority they refuse to use. Legal, constitutional authority. And they bench it because of party politics to screw their voters.
And their voters seem to love the abuse. Perhaps a walk on a leash of Folsom street would make them happy.
Texas Governor has all the authority he needs - the Texas Constitution.

I just do not understand why people on FR suddenly give a damn what Barry ‘might do’. Let him do’ and let the cards fall where they may.
Is that how we should live? In mortal fear of liberal ‘might dos?”
I couldn’t agree more.
If Obama-Holder tried to interfere it would immediately go to the Supreme Court. It’s pretty far fetched to think the court would attempt to modify a state constitution. If they did... well... we all know what comes next. There’s no way they can claim there’s some “inequality” as has been done with “homosexual marriage”
Actually it is mind numbing that the 3 governors have not personally gone to the SC and demanded an expedited hearing on Barry’s unconstitutional BS.
He has in fact warranted that and far more. Ergo they want this.
I got behind a bus marked US Government in our local Walmart parking lot and noticed that it was filled with short people, very short people. Never saw them unload.
In my small town in Ky we are overrun by illegals. About 20 years ago there was a shortage of tobacco workers so our dumba55 farmers went to Mexico and put up flyers telling the Mexicans to come here there was plenty of work.
It worked all too well. But it did get our fat, ugly girls husbands. I always look on the bright side.
yo meeshell.....maing....where are our free veggie burgers??
we shall soon see if Perry is For Us or Agin us
Thx, skeeter.
This article and petition needs to get FR pinged, FR sidebarred, Facebooked, emailed, tweeted and texted out. With a little circulation it could make a stink worthy of national news.
Texas representatives were drawn to the original FB discussion, signed on, and I believe the petition is open for out of state signatories to press Gov. Perry to make a dramatic move. He needs to carry his home state if he decides to run. Enough down here.
I’m there! Thanks
I guess Perry hoped to get out of “Dodge” in January so he could concentrate on a “presidential” bid. This could ruin Abbott’s chances of succeeding Perry in that the Republicans “do nothing”. I read that “Abortion Barbie” is only 12 points behind Abbott.
Maybe Cornball ia advising Perry to “sit tight”.
These agencies were never “heroic”. The exist to get funding from taxpayers. There are some individual “heroes” in these agencies, however. It’s mostly all about funding though.
I predict “Agin” as one who has voted for him every time his name was on my ballot.
Brewer is totally useless; is the influx even going into NM? Don’t the immigrants prefer to avoid NM?
Not really. They are not the Rangers of old.
I read that Abortion Barbie is only 12 points behind Abbott

Perry won by less than 13% in 2010. In 2006 he won by less than 10%.
And to all of the Congress homes as well. To Kerry, Clintons and etc. homes let them feed and take care of them.
