I went to pick up my kids from school the other day, my usual 3 o'clock date with the playground. My eldest son's teacher met me as I walked up, all atwitter with excitement. "We had some high-school seniors come in today to do some tutoring, and your son just really clicked with one of the boys," she told me. "He just talked and talked to him, and they got along so well." She knows just how painfully shy my son can be around new people and was just as happy as I was that he could find someone to interact with in a way other than hiding behind someone taller than he and sneaking glances around their torso.
"Let me guess," I said. "Is this boy slim, dark-haired and very pretty?" Most people can't talk to people they find attractive, but my shy, shy boy is the exact opposite.

I notice the author has no trouble deciding what is going through other people’s heads. And making moral judgements about them based on what he believes they are thinking.
We can safely conclude this “father” and I use that word with some vomit in my mouth, is a child abuser and may have some desire to expose children to sexual abuse since he seems gleeful at whoring out his 9 year old to older men.
And his in-laws have a ‘no homophobes’ policy! Boy, if I was the head of a pedophile family, I’d have that policy too.
Sick.
Even on a hetero level, this is wrong, wrong, wrong. Imagine a nine year old girl lusting after a 18 year old senior boy, or a nine year old boy lusting after a 18 year old girl. In fact, I am pretty sure that if this was a nine year old boy lusting after an 18 year old girl, he would be told such feelings were inappropriate given the age disparity.
Soddom and Gomorrah had nothing on the cess pit we have become.
Did any one read that Hagel, Secretary of Defense, is open to the idea of transgenders serving in the military? Imagine this little fruitcake drressed in a woman’s uniform captured by the Taliban. Bizarre doesn’t even begin to describe it. I am not so sure the Taliban are wrong when they say our morals (or lack there of)are corrupting their culture. Plenty of evidence here. (I say that somewhat tongue in cheek)

A 9 year old is a child. He isn’t gay or straight, he is a child.

I wonder if this “husband, father” is the natural father, with a female wife, of this poor child. Or are homosexual couples now able to adopt pretty boys and know they are gay at age 9?
This could be another “progressive” means of promoting abortion... “See who might adopt your baby? Adam and Steve!”

I’m in complete disbelief that this loser is out there “raising” a child. I know I’m a Neanderthal on these issues, but did it ever occur to this ***hole that his kid may be looking for a big brother role model type because his dad is a freakin loon?

My young nephews idolize my handsome son who markedly hetero, tall dark and thin. I do not find it any indication of anything except hero worship.

Why is this father not taking steps to deal with the biblical education of his son.

Okay, for the record, this father isn’t ‘letting’ anything happen. He is an active and willing participant in grooming his son for pedophiles, which makes him an accessory to child molestation.
Typical HuffPo story. HuffPo also has mods that hate dissenting comments too - deletes any that goes against their lib theosophy even when they are logical and civil. They only like to talk to themselves over there, and are sinking in readership too.
