Isn’t it amazing that the 4 adjectives in the Subject are no longer sufficient to describe how bad the IRS has become under the demonic Obama regime. We’re going to need poets to describe the horror that is abuilding in our former Republic.

Was hoping Leo LePort’s TechGuy show would mention the “missing” Lerner emails fabrication.
He seemed to have steered clear of it - on both his Sat. And Sun. Shows!......

Rep. Dave Camp, chairman of the Ways and Means Committee, said he was stunned… “The fact that I am just learning about this, over a year into the investigation, is completely unacceptable and now calls into question the credibility of the IRS’s response to congressional inquiries,” Mr. Camp said.

What is wrong with this nerd? If he can't come up with words just a tad bit stronger than those, we are screwed. I would have told that low life POS MoFo IRS man that he was full of bovine scat, and get me those e mails tomorrow, or he goes in a cell with OJ. F these MoFo A holes.

So what is congress going to do about this? We all know the IRS and for that matter, every department, agency and bureau, of this government is corrupt and lawless. Yet nothing has been done.

When will congress grow a pair and start putting these criminals behind bars? Or is congress complicit in these illegal activities?

Maybe, just maybe, the IRS’s immense computer infrastructure and multiple levels of redundant back up happened to fail.

The IRS's computer software is junk. I know this for a fact.

I read a book about the IRS years ago (1997) called Unbridled Power by Shelley Davis. The IRS was thoroughly corrupt and evil when she wrote the book. Of course now it's at least on it's way to becoming much more powerful (see Obamacare) and obviously the evil and corruption are now being reinforced by both a corrupt White House and an equally corrupt Justice Department. It simply has to go. An organization like this must be abolished. By supporting politicians who destroy the economy, they're really not even helping the US financially. Consider that abolishing the IRS also effectively abolishes Obamacare and we've all taken ourselves one step closer to living in a free country. There are just so many other 3 letter agencies and departments to abolish (see Rick Perry: Education, Commerce and Energy). Surely we could survive without HUD, the DHS, the FDA, the TSA, EPA... and so many others that I can't even remember... and of course there are much better ways to raise taxes without tens of thousands of pages of tax code.

people that have IRS problems,
tend to be tax cheats.
(or not, please enlighten me)

examples
1) tend to try to deduct their house-expenses as a business expense.

2) fail to deposit SS tax with the gov;t, even
though they took it out of their employee’s wage

One more reason we need to repeal the 16th Amendment and replace the income tax with this:

The IRS’s venal and corrupt behavior is only possible because the tax code is a Byzantine nightmare of about 75,000 pages. .... It is this thicket of special-interest sleaze that enables hacks like Lois Lerner to wield unjustified power.

Well Daniel is right about the root cause of the corruption. It is the Income Tax Code, in short the Income Tax of 1913. I know what drove the effort to amend the Constitution for an unapportioned income tax but the consequences are now clear and have been clear for decades.

We also need to rip up the internal revenue code and replace it with a simple and fair flat tax.

Well Daniel, just when you hone in on the root cause and the bigger picture, you stumble into circular logic.

Daniel, take a look at that insane chart you posted of Total Pages of Federal Tax Rules spanning 1913 to 2014. What is the cause of that Daniel? Yes indeed, it's the effect of the Income Tax. The Income Tax is the cause, and the effect is insanity.

And what is the Flat Tax Daniel? It's an Income Tax. Let that sink in for a minute. The Flat Tax is an Income Tax.

Have we as Americans ever had a Flat Income Tax before? Yes, several times. And what happens each time? It grows and grows like a cancer, it metastasizes until it chokes the American spirit. And when the American spirit suffers what does Congress do? Why they reform the tax code like giving a cancer patient radiation therapy until the cancer comes back with a vengeance.

So Daniel what you are advocating is to continue the insanity by making it look simple until of course it comes back with a vengeance, and it will.

A Flat Tax never stays flat.

Here's the real solution which should have been done in 1913 or earlier but the technology wasn't there for it:

Nobody, after all, would ever claim to a teacher that “the dog ate my homework.”

Dogs don't eat homework; goats do.
