The president is expected to issue a call to action on global warming in a commencement address Saturday at the University of California, Irvine. Earlier this month, he announced a contentious plan to cut pollution from power plants.
While in Orange County, Obama also raised money for the Democratic National Committee at a closed-door fundraiser at the Laguna Beach home of Getty oil heiress Anne Earhart. About 25 people paid up to $32,400 to participate in a roundtable discussion with the president.
He's spending the rest of the Father's Day weekend on vacation at the Rancho Mirage home of White House decorator Michael Smith and his partner, U.S. Ambassador to Spain James Costos.

$32,400 per person in bribes? Our nation is the modern Sodom and Gomorrah. God will render his judgment on us.
OK!! Everybody pay attention!
Lesson for today:
1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.
2. The sun is a ball of fire that controls the climates of all its planets.
3. The earth is one of the suns planets.
4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.
5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.
Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?
Spending Father’s Day by hanging out with a couple of homoz AT THEIR HOME ?
Wow, my gay meter just pegged and buried.
Red alert, red alert.
It was 44 degrees here when I got up this morning.
The good news is that the ice is finally gone from the great lakes.
It’s a finger in the eye of fathers everywhere, most of all The Father.
There’s also the little problem of the sun being on it’s own orbit and we little speck planets are just tagging along as the sun chases around the galactic center of the Milky Way.
So to really deal with earth events, we’d have to bypass the sun and take on the entire galaxy. Except there’s the universe the Milky Way orbits around....that might be a toughie.
“Fighting” nature. ROTFL! The college kids these days might be just stupid enough to try it. I wish they’d take all of the salt and sharks out of the oceans first.
Maybe they should fight windmills too...
Oh wait, they are probably allied with the windmills.
We are so screwed.
And so they fought climate change with their LARP foam swords..
What’s really weird is that Mooch is supposedly with him on this little excursion. She did not, however, attend the fundraiser this a.m. in Laguna Beach nor the UC Irvine graduation at Anaheim Stadium, instead choosing to remain in Rancho Mirage.
Maybe the homos took her shopping at their favorite haunts??? Guess she felt the need to come along on this latest AF 1 flight since she hasn’t had a vacay in at least two weeks, right?
This gender confused and lowdown Chicago narcissist was right at home with those two!
Four years of hard work and then having to sit through this clown’s lies at graduation.
He’s golfing tomorrow, so no Moochie on the greens schedule either.
32K to participate in a round table discussion with the president??? Really??? The pres doesn’t talk enough as it is??? What exactly comes out these discussions? New policy initiatives???
Here is one way the University of California can affect the horror of global warming: They can all turn their backs to the sun and show their anger to the sun by pulling down their pants (or skirts) and mooning it. That’s the ticket.
Next problem, please.
@ an “oil heiress” house no less. Where is the hyperventilating leftists? He is hanging out with evil big oil. What if Cheney had done that?
Sun? What sun?
I am MUCH more “WORRIED” about something that is .04 percent of our atmosphere. Krikie!! That’s 400 parts per MILLION!
Let’s all worry together.
You know, for many years I have been terrified that Al Gore, et al, would find out that magnetic north is on the move. And that there is a chance that north and south might actually flip, as has happened in the prehistoric past.
If he gets wind of this, there is no telling what he will try to make us do!
