Commenting on a report on Hillary Clinton's 2016 plans, CNN New Day anchor Chris Cuomo admitted that the media have been the biggest promoters of her presumed presidential campaign and that they have given her a "free ride."

Clinton’s strategy is “celebrity”.
That’s all she’s got.
Her record is failures and corruption.
Right. Chris Matthews tried the same bull last week.
I can’t buy that for one simple reason. This is about power. People that have accidents like that which threaten the power of a Clinton have accidents involving Ft. Marcy Park and airplane crashes with mysterious 45 cal holes in the backs of their heads.
Another freeper has reminded me I have the wrong Cuomo. Andrew is the Gov of NY — that’s who I was thinking of. Is Mario even still around?(don’t really need an answer to that - I don’t really care)
CNN’s Chris Cuomo came into ‘news’ from a privilidged backgroud. He didn’t come up working his way to the top... he came up by being born into the right family.
He’s not used to the idea that he has to be careful - especially with a Clinton. Do you remember this trash talking about the Cuomos by Bill Clinton? The tape that 60 Minutes cast aspersions on, while assisting with the apology to Cuomo?

NEW YORK — Democratic presidential candidate Bill Clinton apologized to New York Gov. Mario M. Cuomo on Tuesday for private remarks he made implying that Cuomo acts like a Mafioso.
The remarks became public Monday when Gennifer Flowers, who claims to have had a 12-year affair with Clinton, held a news conference and played tapes that she says were of phone conversations between her and Clinton. Flowers held the news conference along with the Star, a supermarket tabloid, which paid her for her story and published it.
His family is mobbed up. He is well aware of ‘codes of silence’ and ‘honor’.
Aside from that, I think Hillary’s picking the low fruit. She’s taking the easy political money then she’ll announce she’s not running. That leaves less for any democrat thinking of running. It’s good for our side... even if it feels horrible unethical.
Hillary’s chipmunk cheekbones that she didn’t have a year ago... what’dya think? A tennis ball cut in half and the two halves slipped under her cheek skin? Or just photoshop?
I have no problem in hoping they maul themselves in every way possible. Actually I hope they exercise every criminal, unethical, vile and offensive practice they can imagine. Because people need to see it and their doing so serves the good.
It would be best if they conducted themselves ethically, but then they are incapable of it since they hate the concept of ethics. Ethics are a morality based idea and we all know that ‘each has his own truth’...
The thing is, he wasn’t complaining about it. He was saying it as a matter of pride and was taking credit for having done so. He was certainly not making any apologies for it.

Hillary and Bill have such enormous egos. I get so sick of the constant talk of the what if’s of Hillary’s plans. It went on all in 2007, is she going to run, is she going to run. The endless speculation kept her in the forefront every day. Now she’s doing it again. She can’t bear not to be talked about by the media idiots so she will string them along for 2 more years at great pains to us and then she won’t run. Attention lover and so arrogant.

They all started this once Obama safely won his second term. In this economy it pains me when I hear about people losing their jobs, except public employees (and I consider our media public employees at this point).
It seems that the media jack boots have been given orders to take out Hillary.
You know Hillary used to be 'dead broke' ... I think that's why she's doing this... fear of being in the poor house.

I lived in NY (upstate) under Mario. It was fairly common knowledge that he was...shall we say...connected to some rather well dressed and heavily accented people.
Quite a few known to be mob businesses expanded in all sorts of ways northward from Albany and NYC. lots of state contracts ended up in rather suspect hands.
