IRS Commissioner John Koskinen testified before the House Oversight and Government Affairs Committee that it would take a long time to retrieve all of the Lois Lerner emails that were subpoenaed, but he never hinted that they had been “lost” in a computer crash or otherwise.
Rep Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) wasn’t buying that excuse then, and he’s posted the YouTube video to prove it.

It is impossible to lose two years worth of emails. Federal emails are backed up daily. Mirror servers are used.
Crimes are committed. No one is prosecuted. The obama regime is running a criminal syndicate. And no one steps forward to do anything about it.
It is truly disgusting that the level of the media lap-dog level has risen to this degree.
This should dominate the news along with five other corrupt items of the week and it is ignored.

As you can see, the permanent bureaucracy of the US Government doesn’t give a sh** about the elected representatives of the USA. The are not afraid.
And why should they? They are, and have been, untouchable.
Katie Pavlich reports that only the e-mails that Lerner sent to outside agencies (ie WH, DoJ, etc.) were lost and all her other e-mails were not. Strangest “computer crash” I’ve ever heard of.
The government can’t spend #1.49 a day to back up on Carbonite? Input “Rush” for a discount.
The only recourse is to completely destroy the hard drive to be certain the emails are gone, however, it assumes that the person (Lois in this instance) merely sent all emails to herself, as there is at least one recipient for each of Lois' emails.
Time consuming but all that is necessary is for everyone to do a search of their own email list for anything from Lois!
Subpoena email from all WH personnel to Lerner, her underlings, and anyone at the IRS.

Very interesting that the only emails that were “Deleted” were the ones between Lerner and the DOJ, Lerner and Congress, and Lerner and the White House..Hey IRS, don’t pee on my leg and tell me its raining..NO ONE buys your BS
My old computer crashed, blue screen of death..even with that I could still view my emails because they were all saved in my hotmail account..you don’t have to save emails directly to the PC anymore, they are all stored online

How much of this crap are they going to take?
2 years of data loss means the loss was recent (you can’t lose future data)
A hardware failure would have generated a trail documenting the failure and replacement of the hardware, and likely data restore to the failed disk. Hardware support persons or contractors will have artifacts documenting the failure, a few examples: support tickets, hardware monitoring logs, or emails.
Make them prove there was a recent failure. Make them explain why certain data could not be restored. etc.
