No one will be dragging a disabled guy into court over it. No movies will be made about it. No one will even be getting fired. Like a public school, Obama doesn’t fire people unless he really has no other choice.
Senator Rob Portman (R-OH) told Breitbart News on Monday that the CIA station chief in Afghanistan revealed to reporters through a White House e-mail is no longer serving at that post.
“It was irresponsible enough to expose him and it’s my understanding that he had to leave,” Portman said. “I don’t know [if he’s out of job], but this is Governing 101. You don’t mess with the station chiefs,” he added.The Ohio Republican believes the former CIA Station Chief is now in a safe location away from those who want to do him harm. The Obama White House announced almost two weeks ago that an investigation was launched to examine how the name of the CIA’s station chief in Afghanistan was sent to the press during President Barack Obama’s surprise visit to U.S. troops there recently.
Good news. The investigation is over and no one is responsible. It’s another Obama Investigation (TM).
The White House said it determined that the release of the name of the CIA station chief in Afghanistan was unintentional and said they don’t know of any disciplinary action that has been taken.
Those who investigated the release of the CIA official’s name “were not focused on trying to isolate any specific wrongdoing because this disclosure was inadvertent.”
“I won’t get into the specifics of who actually the Counsel spoke to in the context of this review,” Earnest said.
The investigation, which wasn’t intended to identify wrongdoing, didn’t. It’s another Obama Miracle.
