(CNSNews.com) - Fifty-one percent of the Americans who responded to a Gallup poll conducted June 5-8 said that they do not believe the phrase “is honest and trustworthy” applies to President Barack Obama.
Gallup has asked Americans this question eight times over the last six years: “Thinking about the following characteristics and qualities, please say whether you think each applies or doesn't apply to Barack Obama. How about: Is honest and trustworthy.”

The BAD news is 49% of them don’t see it that way.
Reality, apparently, is in the perception and is not a tangible commodity for 49% of Americans.
They probably still like him on a personal, nice guy, level though, ugh.

Being NOT snide here, can anyone tell me an ACTUAL statement, politically, he has made that WAS NOT a lie. I’m sure he said something like “The dog shit in the Rose Garden.”, or some such; but I spent hours looking at actual quotes and can’t find a one that was true. Not at the time and not later on.
And 49% are still sleeping.

It simply is not fair to obama, since his actual base is being ignored.
What Gallup and all the other pollsters need to do is seek out the freaking idiots that were dragged out of the ghetto, bribed with cigarettes and wine and if possible, reopen the cemeteries that were opened and pose these questions to them.
I'm sure his popularity, competence, likeability and downright just godly qualities would be revealed and we would probably be clamoring for an additional fours years of the Maximum Leaders unerring and perfect guidance.
