Brisbin was wearing an ankle bracelet at the time of the attempted kidnapping, stemming from a 2009 conviction for exposing himself to two children in Bellvue, Washington. He was also convicted of kidnapping, criminal sexual contact and child endangerment in New Jersey 10 years before that. In that case, he was also disciplined for attempting to cut off his required ankle bracelet. Somehow I kind of doubt that he was a conservative/Tea Party kind of guy. Bet he has an Obama sticker on his car.

I don’t know or really care about his political leanings.
But I’ve got a pretty good guess of the politics of the NJ and WA judges who gave him short sentences, freed him repeatedly—and put him in an ankle bracelet after a prior escape thereof.

He fits right in with historical libertarian party platforms from the eighties.
The only differential is whether or not he wants to pay taxes.

The guy was convicted of kidnapping?
What ever happened to 99 years for kidnapping?
