House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi spoke about the wave of violence hitting Iraq from Islamic militants, asserting that the United States does not have a responsibility to assist the country with military action.
I dont think this is our responsibility, but I do think we were irresponsible for going into Iraq for a variety of other reasons, she told reporters on Capitol Hill on Thursday.
Pelosi called the violence troubling but asserted that there was no American appetite for further military action in the country

The U.S. govenrment has turned Iraq into an ugly nightmare.
In comparison, when Saddam was in power it was a shinning utopia compared to what it is now.
How would that be any different from what the Soviets did?
