House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi spoke about the wave of violence hitting Iraq from Islamic militants, asserting that the United States does not have a responsibility to assist the country with military action.
“I don’t think this is our responsibility, but I do think we were irresponsible for going into Iraq for a variety of other reasons,” she told reporters on Capitol Hill on Thursday.
Pelosi called the violence “troubling” but asserted that there was no American appetite for further military action in the country

You three took a won war that was winding down and made such a mess of things you have reversed all of our gains and actually made the situation worse than it was in the beginning.
If there were WMDs in Iraq, they could not have worse damage to the rest of the world than you three have done.
When Saddam was in power, Iraq’s Islamists were suppressed (brutally), and Iraq was a foe of Iran. After we toppled Saddam, the Islamists were free to burn and pillage - more so than ever now, but they’ve been doing so for a decade. A Iraq became an ally of Iran.
Boy, it sure was smart to spent trillions of dollars (that we don’t have) and thousands of lives, to topple Saddam.
Mexican, Central American and South America poverty isn’t our responsibility either.
I call BS. The Iraq war was never “won”. And Iraq has been Iran’s biggest ally, ever since we toppled Saddam. The burka came back and other elements of sharia after Saddam was ousted.

Where will the money come from ? That’s a question the pro-war conservatives never ask, when it comes to war. Just like liberals never ask that question when it comes to their domestic spending programs.

The only I’d go back in and spend one more drop of blood or trillions more in American treasure we don’t have, is if we seized the country and all of it’s oil etc. We own it. Give the Iraqis just enough to survive, that’s it.
Otherwise, no way, they can fight their own GD internal battles.
