Because it is a BAD idea. It would be coopted by both libertarians (libertines) and liberals. It would NOT produce meaningful corrections that balanced conservatives would like.

Amen to that! There are a lot of chicken littles and naysayers on this site. According to so e we should just drink some poisoned coolaid and go to sleep forever with our ideals and self-righteousness intact.
