US President Barack Obama declared on Thursday that short-term military actions will have to be taken in Iraq, following the take-over by an Al Qaeda break-off Islamist terrorist group over large portions of the country.
Reuters reported that Obama said he is looking at "all options" as far as helping the government of Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, noting "I don't rule anything out," when asked whether the United States is considering drone strikes or any other action to stop the insurgency.
Speaking at the White House while meeting Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbot, Obama said there will be "short-term immediate actions that need to be done militarily in Iraq," and that the US is prepared to take action to defend its security interests.

No.
I once took short-term action in a bar. A large biker jogged my elbow. I slapped him once, and then sat down to continue nursing my beer. That was all I remember until my wife came and visited me in the hospital, five months later (OK. It never happened, just illustrative parable).
Putting up those 8 lb weights was very manly.
He’s looking at “all options”, is he? Like passing the buck, as usual?
How short term can it be if the Iraqi forces are still running away even when the odds are wildly in their favor?
Little bastard barry boy’s friends need the heavy equipment our military is leaving behind in Iraq, to destroy the Regime in Syria. They got the missiles to deal with air cover, now they want the heavy armor. Little barry bastard boy is equipping his army of jihad.
Depends on which side we're going to help.
So, what will be Hillary’s position?
Maybe it’s time to draw a “red line” ... or maybe a ‘bright line”???
The Obama red line has become a maze.
The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
In Obama World:
The Sunni IA is running away. There’re plenty of Shia IA who will not fraternize with the Sunni ISIL. Iraqi Shia have their own agenda and to them this heralds a time of Payback.
The ignoramus might be able to do something with air strikes while these terrorists are moving by the highways, but once they’re fighting in the cities the only thing that can stop them will be boots on the ground, and there hasn’t been much indication far that the Iraqi forces can or will do that.
But that opportunity if probably already lost.
LOL....that’s showing ALL of his strength, too.
