Where is Baghdad Bob when Commander Obama needs him?
Iran and UAE both produce more oil than Iraq.
And now I find conflicting data showing you are correct from OPEC. I guess it depends on what you count as production, NGLs, condensate or just oil.

Iraq is at least in the top 3.
And form the Dud department
"Five American service members were killed in southern Afghanistan when a coalition jet (B1), called in to help ward off a Taliban attack, mistakenly bombed them, an Afghan official said Tuesday.
So now we are using B1 bombers for close air support the job the A10 was designed to do? Or leaders are either clueless or criminal.
Wiki A10 "The Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II is an American twin-engine, straight-wing jet aircraft developed by Fairchild-Republic in the early 1970s. The only United States Air Force aircraft designed solely for close air support of ground forces, the A-10 was built to attack tanks, armored vehicles, and other ground targets with limited air defenses.
Wiki B1 "The Rockwell (now part of Boeing) B-1 Lancer[N 1] is a four-engine supersonic variable-sweep wing, jet-powered strategic bomber used by the United States Air Force"
Reportedly, the ISIL force is incredibly only about 800. If they turned around all 4,500 captured Iraqi army personnel, assuming they aren’t already beheaded, that would make a force of 5,300. The Baghdad population is massive at 7.2 million and majority Shiite. Forgetting for a moment the remaining (hopelessly ill commanded) army under Maliki, if the Iraqi’s marshaled just 1 percent of the Baghdad population into a militia that would make a fighting force of 72,000. How much further can ISIL realistically push?
(That, now infamous picture, would make for a great Toyota commercial under different circumstances.)
I see Obama has Al Qaeda on the run.
Unfortunately they are running in the wrong direction.
I don’t think those spouting that phrase cared who’s blood was spilled.
Maybe some military rations would help.
“A10s”
Chuck Bagel is throwing them in the garbage.
Because just last year Obama was telling us we needed to arm and use strafing runs to help these people. They’re fighting Assad you know.
Nailed it. Our response to an EXTREMELY tangential connection to Al-Qaeda has long since passed reasonable.
Thanking Obama. Laughing at America. Drunk with an overwhelming anticipation because Obama is offering us up to their whims. This is intentional and the goal is not Iraq and Syria. How many of these guys are stationed in your town?
My husband was part of the first expeditionary force in Iraq. He also trained many of the enlisted and officers. He has always been proud of what they accomplished. He’s not doing so well today.
He’s still and idiot. Who else would think it’s a good idea to destroy the West, other than an idiot?
I don’t really see thriving Gulf states as much consolation. Qatar is housing the Taliban 5, not monitoring them, have given them sanctuary so they can plan the brutal deaths of Americans. Saudi is probably funding ISIS. UAE has close ties to Iran. Iraq is either about to be a very rich Al Qaeda country or another Iranian proxy. No, this war was an absolute waste. The soldiers deserve to be honored for what they did, the politicians deserve to be *self censored*!!
Iran, Russia, and China won’t let that happen. This move by ISIS has just brought an era to a screeching halt. America will cease to be a world super power. The bulk of human history saw the strongest despot ruling, passing his rule down, and thus it went for hundreds of years. God rose up some brilliant men a couple centuries ago, and unprecedented freedom and prosperity was born. The Gospel spread to every corner of the globe. Satan has been subverting it ever since.
Anyone who’d want to do all that is a stupid idiot.
Not much of a surprise. Throughout their history, the Iraqi soldier is a coward due to their lack of military success. Running over Kuwait in the early 90s is like taking over a shopping mall. The couldn’t beat Iran, we routed them in 100 days in GW1 and GWII. Now, 1,000 insurgents have routed 2 divisions in Mosul. You can lead a horse to water but he ain’t going to win the Kentucky Derby. They do not have a long history of success on the battlefield to instill military competence and confidence, regardless of the US dollars and training. Our advisors needed to be there for at least two more decades to have any impact. But then Obama wants to fight in this region three times. He so wants his presidency to be over so he can work on his library on a Hawaiian hillside.
