It's interesting that Ted Cruz was born a tri-Citizen. People need to realize that Mr. Cruz obtained his Cuban citizen from his father who had not yet naturalized at the time Ted was born. That is a fact. It is being reported that he officially renounced his Canadian Citizenship today but what about his Cuban Citizenship inherited from his father Rafael? Why is this being ignored by the media as well as his supporters? Don't get me wrong, I like Ted Cruz but this issue needs to be addressed.
ZOT!
natural born means citizen at birth and absolutely nothing else
BS!
Not a single immigration attorney agrees with you.
Not a single member of Congress agrees with you.
Not a single Governor agrees with you.
Not a single Election Officer, State or local, agrees with you.
YOU ARE WRONG.
Naturalized or Natural Born, the only two forms of citizenship, period.
Had some difficulty with the Zotmaster. Seems Sidebar Moderator had the spare parts locked away in the Yacht’s toolbox. Without spare fribbets, the Zotmaster could fire only frazdit rather than frazstat, which as you know, is next to useless for a typical ZOT!
Looks like it’s working again.
Who knew on could inherit Cuban citizens. Note to self: Did my father have a Cuban citizen upon his death, and does that Cuban citizen, then, rightfully belong to me? If so, obtain him or her.
The difference is the claim against Obama. The claim is that Obama’s mama birthed Obama overseas BEFORE she had met the years of eligibility requirements of the law. She was very young.
Cruz’s mom did meet those years of eligibility requirements. She was already a college graduate plus.
So far as Ted Cruz being a Cuban citizen is concerned, it is not likely. Cruz’s dad became a Canadian citizen, and at the time, Canada was strongly encouraging its citizens not to have dual citizenship. Rafael Cruz probably renounced his Cuban citizenship on becoming a Canadian citizen. We know he renounced his Canadian citizenship on becoming a US citizen.
Ted Cruz is causing all kind of GOP(e) trolls to come out of the woodworks. Cantor’s defeat now has them in panic mode.
That you, Rand?
“Interesting” that you dims flock to this while ignoring Barry Soetero.
Zots for tots.
Idiot.
July is coming.
Oh why! I was so close to being in before the zot! Dang.
It took awhile but I finally was able to fix the Zotmaster when Sidebar Moderator delivered the toolbox with all the spare parts.
I thought it was a “bag of holding”.
Why do I hear dice rolling?
Obama was not Kenyan because his father was. We still don’t know for sure where he WAS born, only that he said he was born there, but later retracted that. For all we know, he was born in HI, but his father was a British subject at the time, and he was not in HI as a refugee or political anything. He was a student. PERIOD. Cruz’s father had left Cuba for political reasons. He may not have been a citizen yet, but I think he had already applied for citizenship. These are not two peas in the same pod. There is a big difference. Ted’s mother was a US citizen, and she was of age, and they were only in Canada because of Ted’s father having a job there. They had not become Canadian citizens. All kids born to military parents in other countries, while stationed there, are citizens of that country. They have dual citizenship until the parent declares them US citizens. Normally that happens when they apply for the SS number and for the US passport. So, it is short-lived. Obama’s mother was not of age to confer US citizenship on him, if he were born in Kenya. She was only 17. That is why it IS important where Obama was born.
Uh, right, Sidebar can do all sorts of interesting sounds and impressions.
