I think McCain and Goober Graham are going to revoke Hagel’s RINO card for this one. He should have been more bipartisan by saying the final decision to make the deal for Bergdahl was a group collaboration. After Hagel’s testimony, the White House issued yet another clarification, stating that it wasn’t Chuck Hagel, it was the guy who works the cash register at the White House gift shop who gave the final approval for the swap.
To be out maneuvered by Hagel requires an extreme lack of talent!

First Bowe Bergdahl’s health was in danger.
Next, we heard that Bergdahl was a soldier who served with honor and distinction,, so we had to rescue him.
Next, we heard that platoon members who knew Bergdahl, and who criticizing him, were ‘Swiftboating’ him.
Next, we were told that Bergdahls fellow soldiers may be psychopaths. Next, Obama fell back on the old, tired, ‘racism/everyone hates me’ card.
Then, we were told by Obama that he has NO regrets for making the swap.
Then we were told that Obama intends to make many more equally-illegal Taliban releases.
Then we were told Congress wasn’t informed of the swap because the Taliban threated to kill Bowe Bergdahl if they were informed.

...and this one, which flies directly in the face of several of Obama’s other excuses: Chuck Hagel did it.

I never thought this was true. I said the day afterwards that Harry Reid was the only Democrat willing to lie for the administration. Or perhaps he is just senile.
What I find funny is the administration realized that his claim was more damaging, because the rest of Congress wanted to know why they weren't also informed.
So, Harry got thrown under the bus. Perhaps the White House is realizing he won't be running the Senate next year.
Did anybody hear the pubbie chairman, Buck McKeown, kissing Hagel’s butt? What a disgrace he says everything would have been “hunky dory” if only the administration advised congress.
Except for Duncan Hunter, these Republican members are not our sharpest knives in the drawer.
