he needs to be asked why a chopper full of our SpecOps folks were risked in such a fishy deal? They were clearly not prepared and didn’t even take the time to search Bergdahl well . And what about the news that the Taliban detainees were released first by a few days ? He is saying they were released AFTER we got Bergdahl . Will not any ‘member of Congress’ ask him this ? Or do they even know? Do these guys do their homework before going into committee ?
The issue is not whether we should try to get Bergdahl back, but rather, what price should we pay. The price for Bergdahl was too high—that is the point.
