Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) offered his sympathies to Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) in a brief statement late Tuesday after his top lieutenant was defeated in a stunning primary loss.
“Eric Cantor and I have been through a lot together,” Boehner said in a statement that read like a condolence note. “He’s a good friend and a great leader, and someone I’ve come to rely upon on a daily basis as we make the tough choices that come with governing. My thoughts are with him and Diana and their kids tonight.” Boehner and Cantor have worked closely together in the last two years after a tense period in the first year of Boehner’s tenure as Speaker.
Cantor was seen as Boehner’s heir apparent, and his loss will shake up the line succession in the House GOP ranks.
In a shocking upset, Cantor was defeated, 56 percent to 44 percent, by conservative David Brat, a Tea Party-aligned college professor with no experience in elected office.
During his concession speech(or whatever that was), she looked like Spitzer’s wife did at his cheating lynching.
What a piece of .... stuff this guy is. Unfortunately he’ll be plaguing us for years to come.

The first reports of Boehner eating at Alberto’s came in during the early evening. And there he stayed. Around 10 p.m., after Chambliss and Burr left, the speaker went to amble home. Asked if he had any comment about the Cantor primary he said, “No, you all know what the rules are” — a reference to his unofficial rule that he does not take questions except at press conferences.
His tough choices mean tough luck and FU to middle America.
Wow, this should be a RINO “get a clue” moment, but they have no clue.
They can cry in their beer together later.
But first, can they shake it off like men and get behind the duly elected candidate?
Bonehead and Cantor are cheap sell out crooks that need to be purged.

And a community organizer with no experience who was elected twice is so much better, right?
Maybe Diana, Eric’s lovebug, will give him a job on the board of directors at Revlon. Why not? keep in it the family. Some think he’s finished politically, at the age of 51.

Wow. Number one, Cantor is married to a leftist, so that answers all of my questions about him.
Number two, with all the committees and boards she serves on or heads, where does Ms. Fine-Cantor find time for her husband and kids?
