Tuesday after a Senate intelligence briefing, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) responded to criticisms being leaked out about U.S. Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl's platoon mates after having criticized him for being a "deserter."
"I have one other comment that doesn't have anything to do with the hearing and that is I understand attacking people who disagree with the president's decision," McCain said. "I do not agree with attacking the reputation of these young men who served in the same platoon with Sgt. Bergdahl. to accuse them of swift boating is unacceptable'"
The former Vietnam prisoner of war was referring to reports of unnamed White House aides accusing the soldiers who served with Bergdahl of swift-boating him by telling their stories in an attempt to discredit the soldiers.

Which side had more opportunity (& motive) to orchestrate their side of the Bergdahl-desertion theory. His platoon mates (who are serving in different units or are out of the service), or the Administration? Hmmmm?

What about the practice of calling his fellow soldiers psychopaths who were in a unit short on leadership; this practice requires a name, I suggest Vietnamization since the practice is reminiscent of the coverage soldiers got during the Vietnam War. And just as accurate as anything else stated in 1969.
I had to read that several times before I believed that he was defending the platoon.
