With all due respect to you, I now have considerably less respect for the Gallup Poles. Just who were they polling? The dead folks that Rats seem so able to find before each elelction?

The vote in Idaho goes overwhelmingly to Republican candidates. Incumbent Republicans in Idaho have only been defeated when scandals or incompetence was involved.

For the sake of furthering the discussion, let's dismiss the Gallup poll of 2012 showing Alabama and Mississippi among the most Conservative of states. But where did the great Ronald Reagan launch his 1980 campaign after winning the Republican nomination? At the Neshoba County Fair in Mississippi!
