Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl is in good enough physical condition to allow him to return to the United States, but hes not ready psychologically or emotionally, U.S. officials confirmed to NBC News on Sunday.
For now, Bergdahl will remain at the U.S. military hospital at Landstuhl Germany for treatment.
Although hes been permitted to talk to his parents, Bergdahl has so far chosen not to call his family in Idaho, the officials said.
No specific reason for Bergdahls mindstate were given except that he continues treatment for psychological and emotional problems as a result of his five years in captivity.

In Bergdahl's case, it's more like Witless Protection Program.
I’m assuming you noted the sarcasm in my “be nice” comment.
No, I assume nothing with posters I don’t know very well.
Gee, I wonder WHY? /s
Been around since 2000 or so. I ran KeyHouseRaces in 2010.
Trust me, it was sarcasm start to finish.
Obama will keep Bergdahl out of sight until the story is off the front page and some other news event dominates the media. Then it will be “old news” and time to “move on.” Stonewalling worked for the IRS and Benghazi scandals. Should work for the Bergdahl scandal also.

I was on the FR years ago for a long time but got distracted by family illnesses and deaths: 2008-2013. I've just gotten back recently. So, maybe I read your posts some while back. My brain might even recover enough to remember you.
No harm. No foul.
Did you hear the one about the three-legged dog who walked into a bar saying: "I'm looking for my paw" ??
:o)
Missed that one. But I do plan to be a bit more careful with my “clever” sarcasm posts in the future. Lesson learned.
