For the republicans that say they're not going to support the republican candidate because he's not like you 100% of the time ........... The only so-called republicans I know that I wouldn't support are McCain and Lindsey Graham. Sometimes it's just best to tolerate them if you can take control of the senate.

Gillespie has almost no chance.

Even if Gillespie was a Conservative, he still has almost no chance.

37% of Virginia is non-white.

And, a huge bloc of white voters near the Beltway are Federal employees.

Gillespie needs two things to win:

(1) 65% of white voters statewide - very hard to get.

(2) Very low non-white voter turn out - possible - but Democrats are totally focused nationally on turning out their base, so, 50-50 chance.
