After being cared for by ASPCA since being rescued on May 6, King is ready for a home. The cat captured the hearts of animal lovers when he was seen on video being punted like a football by a heartless man in Bedford-Stuyvesant.
The 1-year-old male cat that survived a brutal kick from a heartless perp outside a Brooklyn housing project last month is ready to be adopted.
The ASPCA has been caring for King since a group of animal rescuers captured the skittish gray kitty on May 6.
King suffered tissue injuries as a result of the trauma, and was treated with painkillers, said Gail Buchwald, senior vice president of the ASPCAs adoption center. He recovered successfully and is doing well.
Staffers said the cat has undergone a behavioral evaluation and a hotline has been set up for potential adopters.
The affectionate and playful feline should go to a home with owners who have children over the age of 12 and some experience with cats.
As long as the kitty is away from the repulsive life-form who inflicted harm upon him, I’m happy.
Where did you read that the cat was declawed?
Amen.
I didn't. I was being facetious. You know; using irony to make a point. Not everybody gets it. We can't all be stellar wits, you know.
GFY
Glad you clarified yourself, I had just put you in the "NIT" category............
