We are loving, committed and faithful couples just like anyone else. If youve paid the slightest bit of attention to the same-sex marriage debate, youve heard this very statement in some iteration. Its not true by some important measures though.
1. Same-sex male couples are dramatically more likely to be unfaithful than heterosexual couples.
2. Committed lesbian relationships are more likely to break up than both male-male and opposite-sex couples, by dramatic margins.
Those are two very important differences, unarguably judging the were no different dogma incorrect. What support is there for these stark differences?
First, it should be noted that the research is strong and numerous enough that a recent and very provocative Atlantic cover story on what straights could learn from gay marriage couldnt ignore it. Liza Mundy, the articles author, doesnt appear to have a conservative bone in her body, yet she is fair and straight-up honest with the research on the nature of committed same-sex relationships.

Well that does stand to reason. Men and women ARE different from each other. So a relationship between a man and a woman is not the same as a relationship between two men. And a relationship between two women is not the same as either of the previous.
No. I am not mentally disturbed and unstable.
The polling is fascinating ; 50+% favor same sex marriage, only 7% consider sex outside of marriage acceptable. The next question asked of the general public has to be, “Is sex outside of a same sex marriage as morally reprehensible as sex outside of a heterosex marriage?” If not, how is it a marriage?
I think it mostly occurred when a bunch of homos in the early 70s gradually started to take over positions on the association's board of trustees until they had enough to hold sway.
Why wouldn’t these relationships be less likely to survive? They’re not real marriages anyway.
I wouldn’t know if you are or are not mentally disturbed and unstable. Never said you were. I simply pointed out that the various types of relationships were not identical, or “the same”.
No. This is not God’s plan, and they know it as well as we do.
No, same-sex couples aren’t like me...they are mentally disturbed and unstable.
Ah, I get it. Sorry for the confusion.
LOL.
The same thing has been occurring with the legal profession. Homosexual lawyers became homosexual judges and thanks to the idiocy/treason of Democrats, we have more homosexual judges in pivotal positions. Big surprise the Judge Walker found Proposition 8 unconstitutional - but of course, being a homosexual had nothing to do with his decision, right?
