Fox News reporter James Rosen claimed intelligence sources have told him not only that Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl willingly collaborated with the Taliban, but that his involvement with the terrorist group may be as serious as you can imagine.
Rosen spoke with Bill OReilly Wednesday night about his ongoing conversations with intelligence and Pentagon officials regarding both old and new investigations into Bergdahls likely desertion and possibly treasonous activities.
My reporting has shown that the intelligence community also undertook a separate [from the Army] investigation of Sgt. Bergdahl, Rosen explained, both his final period of active duty that culminated in that mysterious evening, and also his conduct over the past five years, which is said to have been a period of captivity.
Alright, now why would you say the intelligence, I assume thats defense intelligence, the CIA, all those people why would they bother investigating a sergeant who was taken captive? OReilly asked. I mean, why would they spend those resources?
Well, with greatest proximity, because they were tasked with doing so, Rosen responded cagily. But my reporting on this is that there are many inside the intelligence community who harbor outstanding concerns not just that Sgt. Bergdahl may have been a deserter, but that he became an active collaborator with the enemy.
The reporter reiterated information regarding Bergdahls emails, the packing up of his personal effects, his failure to take certain equipment with him before he left his post and anecdotal evidence from Taliban commanders including how Bergdahl taught Islamist fighters how to reprogram a mobile phone into an IED.
The last thing I will tell you is Im still working on this story, Im talking to a broad range of sources in and out of the government, in and out of the military, Rosen explained. And all I will say is, there are many forms that active collaboration can take. Im investigating claims that it could go as serious as you could imagine.
To help the Taliban get five senior leaders back.
correction: co-Sergeants Major
The more I read about this the more I am convinced that Bergdahl’s father was also involved with this.
Bergdahl’s father was in contact with Bergdahl the entire time he working with the Taliban.
thats good shootin. i think youre right on target
And nothing is going to happen to either one of them, even if you’re right. Watch and see.
I doubt he came back willingly. He was probably drugged a bit (and perhaps blindfolded) before his departure. There was no way the Taliban wasn’t going to turn him in for the 5 bigger fish Obamadullah offered them.
FURINOS!
That's a good question. maybe he should be on suicide watch.
Bergdahls father was in contact with Bergdahl the entire time he working with the Taliban.
That’s interesting. Have you read Shoebat’s article? He has the Berghal Sr’s youtube channel. Heavy into Moslem preachers or whatever they’re called and learning how to pray with the correct Arabic or whatever accents. It’s on FR.
If that turns out to be the case, this whole thing is even worse than we all thought.
He likely means to have the phone used as a remote trigger for explosives. Something like this...
“GSM Based Cell Phone Controlled Remote Switching Circuit”

There are hints of money passing hands....no proof so far ....but the Haqqanis are a crime family....its all about the money.
The day they do that I may throw my gold bottle-cap over the White House fence. Don't care - stuck at 0-4; being passed over for a minority or gender based promotion. Can't have my pistol expert medal or some of the others!
Returning top enemy commanders to an enemy who has not surrendered is giving aid to the enemy.
1. This specific trade -- Talibani leaders for Bergdahl -- has been on the negotiating table for at least three years.
2. Yet, the Obama administration has had to know the whole story on Bergdahl from the outset.
3. They also evidently went to the trouble of "sanitizing" the Bergdahl file that was exposed to Congress over the past three years. Saxby Chambliss said there was no "desertion note", nor mention of one, in the file he saw. Nor were there any reports based on interviews with his fellow soldiers. So far as Congress was allowed to know, Bergdahl was simply "missing" and a "captive".
4. They appear to have counted upon the military hierarchy and the non-disclosure agreements, coupled with their lapdog press, to keep Bergdahl's real status from becoming known to the public.
5. For some unknown reason, they rushed the exchange to completion without advising Congress. Whether it was to offset the bad PR stemming from the VA Scandal, I don't know.
6. Now, the thing has blown up on them -- because the Pentagon is leaking and the soldiers have talked. Plus, the lap-dog press smells blood in the water.
However, recognize that, apparently, getting Bergdahl back has been every bit as important to the Obama administration as getting their five thugs back was to the Taliban!
Why?
And, now that the desertion (defector?) cat is out of the bag, they are sticking with their story -- even though it is patently obvious they no longer have a case (and that they actively tried to mislead Congress).
Bergdahl himself, not Bergdahl as a symbol, is somehow very, very important to these people. Or, perhaps, it's the elder Bergdahl who is important -- or some people he is connected to.
Something else is going on here...there is whole 'nother level to this affair.
The Oval Office cell will protect the Bergdahl cell.
in other words - it ain’t the skunk you can see that’s really the one that’s stinkin’. right ?
Legend has it, the Israelis are very good at cell phones. Example.
“If all this is true he will be isolated from the media on the pretext of health issues, given another promotion and all his back pay, swing a sweet book deal, be feted on all the TV talk shows, and run for the Senate.”
They don’t even need a health issue pretext. Eric Holder will just start an investigation that lasts until he leaves office and everyone will refuse to talk because of the investigation.
