Unreal. Putting the lives of our brave troops at risk by releasing five Taliban leaders wasn’t enough, apparently. Now the White House has to smear those who put their lives on the line for this country.

As I understand the term, “Swift-boating” is, revealing the truth from first-hand accounts.

And not just from first-hand accounts, but from fellow military veterans who have earned the same hero status that is being supposed on the person at hand.

That's what makes the claim of "swift boating" so insidious. One has to slander the honor of those who served with distinction in order to preserve the facade of honor of the person being foisted on us.
