I'm sure you wrote that because you know it's standard procedure. I read the neatest book about a guy shot down in Bosnia and he was stuck there for days, hiding in the woods before he finally got in a place where he could "triangulate" and let his squad know where he was. He was given instructions not to bring out his gun and to calmly walk out when the helicopter landed. He said when the helicopter landed he came running out with his gun drawn and they threw him to the ground, searched him and then on to the helicopter. It was a true story, I know several people on here probably know who he is but it was years ago, forget his name. A TRUE American hero.
