NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said that the alliance still considered Crimea a territory of Ukraine and urged Russia to give the territory back.

"All NATO allies made clear that we condemn the illegal and illegitimate annexation of Crimea and that the allies will not recognize it," he said at a press conference in Brussels on Tuesday.

There is exactly ZERO chance that Crimea will revert back to Ukraine. Not gonna happen in this universe.

“We know the feeling”

“Sincerely Yugoslavia.”

You are a liar and an apologist for the Soviet-Russian crimes. The dissolution of Yugoslavia resulted as a consequence of Russia encouraging, aiding, and abetting the Serbian oligarhic leadership to usurp the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia powers to the detriment of the other member states, which led in turn to the targeted states rebeling against the usurpers. The Soviet Union and Russia used their intelligence services to instigate and exacerbate these events and then tried to play the false role of the innocent defenders of the Serbian and Russian aggressors who caused all of the carnage to begin with. The Russians with your own disinformation in support are repeating the same murderous and terrorist strategies with Chechnya, Georgia, Armenia, Dagestan, Lithuania, the Ukraine, and elsewhere.

This article obviously struck a nerve, because all of the heinous and shameless supporters of Putin’s murderous acts are coming out of the woodwork to mock.

I’m not supporting Putin, you dolt. I’m saying this poofter NATO General should put up or shut up.

If he’s not prepared to send men with tanks and guns he should keep his impotent Eurotrash cake hole closed.

And my comment was about the NATO decision to dissect Yugoslavia against their will.

I was watching something about NATO this morning and it was pointed out that the USA pays something like 3 times in money and material what the next largest contributor pays in. I think Great Britain is number 2 on the list.

Taking sides in a Balkan Dispute, are we?

There are no angels in the Balkans, just some devils who are interchangeably worse than others at some given point. Take your pick among atrocities committed by every participant. Serbia and Russia? Goes back a long, long way. Russian volunteers in 1911 (and Italy in 1913) helped take Serbia including Kosovo, Montenegro, Croatia, Bosnia, Albania, and parts of Greece away from the Turkish Ottomans.

NATO (and us) took Kosovo from Serbia. That much anyway is clear enough as things go in the Balkans. So how can NATO complain when Russia, with perhaps a bit a better case than the Albanian Kosovars, takes back The Crimea?

The Russians .... are repeating the same murderous and terrorist strategies with Chechnya, Georgia, Armenia, Dagestan, Lithuania, the Ukraine, and elsewhere.

Yes, indeed. However, it is in our national interest that the Russians squash some of these people .... but not others. However, we are now paying the price for electing a disorganized, weak, and very foolish leader who has a ditzy administration to match. It is not reasonable to suppose that we can establish a position that supports our interests against the Russians, when they have a strong aggressive nationalist leader who is playing his hand well, and we are led by a disbarred gay Chicago attorney and failed Community Organizer.

With a weak ineffectual leader, we are in a great deal of danger, IMNVHO, because this is the sort of vacuum that leads to war by emboldening the other team.
