WARSAW, Poland (AP) President Barack Obama on Tuesday defended his decision to release five Afghan detainees from Guantanamo Bay in exchange for an American soldier's freedom, saying his administration had consulted with Congress "for some time" about that possibility. The chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff left open the possibility of desertion charges against the soldier.

Dianne Feinstein: White House sorry for oversight in Bergdahl deal
Washington Times ^ | 6/3/2014 | S.A. Miller
Senate Intelligence Committee Chairwoman Dianne Feinstein said Tuesday that the White House told her that it was on oversight that Congress didnt receive the required notification about the prisoner exchange deal that secured the release of U.S. Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl.
Mrs. Feinstein, California Democrat, said the excuse came from Tony Blinken, President Obamas deputy national security adviser.
Tony Blinken called last night and said that it was an oversight or something to that effect. So I accept that, she told reporters at the Capitol.

We have a very serious problem in this country in a absolutely lawless liar of a president and a congress and senate that have refused to do their function and have willingly handed over their power.
Our government is completely out of control and off the rails.
If we do not put an end to this, it is going to put an end to us.

obozo is a sociopath. And lying is what communists/socialists/marxists DO...to speak the truth would show their hand, though obozo did tell us how he wanted to fundamentally change this country, and many of us said, huh? and ignored his warning. And those of us who heard him prayed to God that this man would crash and burn..we understood the threat to this country, our liberty, freedom, our Constitution.
obozo will crash and burn along with his ilk, or serve time in jail or swing from a rope. And we shall accomplish this, to our last dying breath, if we want to save this country.

I see where Harry Reid has “come forward” to claim that he was “consulted”.
Logrolling.

So . . which one is it? What the hell's wrong with these totally incompetent jackasses? Either they "consulted" or they didn't . . .
Sounds like a bunch of kids running around the house while mom is gone acting stupid!
And we're supposed to believe these fools?

The Chairman of JCofS is a modern day Benedict Arnold by positioning ,inclination, demonstration. Let alone his obvious hook up with Obama.
This is going to be another “We said it was an act of terror” technical argument by the administration.
So basically they told Congress they were thinking about doing something and that counts.

There's going to come a time when the press will be running for the hills...they've pissed off countless Americans with lies and allegiance to communism/socialism/marxism. Something WILL come to a head, don't know when, don't know exactly what, but the kettle will boil over. Americans will not go quietly into slavery and oppression. It's not in our DNA, we're fighters. The left is smart, cunning, well organized, and united, but they don't like the sight of blood or creasing their slacks. The Pajama Boys and Girls of this generation are weak, effeminate, spoiled, full of ideology and they don't want to get their hands dirty or break a sweat. We'll see who wins this war when we get down in the trenches and fight like hell, like our forefathers and soldiers who gave their all in wars past. And I pray that with God's help, we will be successful.

We could do something about it. We could hound our elected so-called "leaders", picket their local offices, burn up their phone lines and e-mails, organize Tea Party rallies, call into local radio shows, write letters to the editor, troll Leftist websites, all demanding this a**clown be impeached and removed from office. So what if it wouldn't get past the 'Rat-held Senate
now...if we start building momentum
now, maybe where there's a GOP Senate and House next January, we could make him the first so-called "president" to be removed from office.
But no...that would mean we conservatives would have to get off our lazy a**es and actually do something. It's so much easier to sit around, whining and crying about the bastard than to actually do something about it. Sheesh...what was I thinking? Besides, O'Reilly's getting ready to come on...

Obama:
“We didn’t have time to notify congress due to the urgency.”
“We did notify congress.”
Hagel:
“We are supposed to notify congress 30 days prior to any exchange of prisoners and I called congress yesterday.”
To: stevie_d_64
Boy, this guy is a truly bold liar. His Secretary of State, Susan Rice was just on all of the Sunday shows explicitly stating that Obama did NOT consult with or inform Congress because their were special circumstances that required such fast action on Obamaâs part that consulting with Congress was simply impossible. It’s like these morons have never heard of YouTube - where their bold faced lies delivered by their own heads talking trash are recorded for us to review 24/7 until the end of digital time
