This is what a real hero looks like.
Army MSG Mark Allens wife writes on the Facebook site, Bowe Bergdahl is a traitor:
Meet my husband, injuries directly brought to you by the actions of this traitor. He cant give an account of what went down, because he can no longer speak. Now, which guy is a hero again?!? Sick.

this site won’t let you post photos like this one.Not sure what the problem is..maybe the https part of it
Looks like it is a problem with my firefox. I can see it with google but it puts up a blank with firefox
I noted there was a space padded on the URL after the last character. That may have been it. Other than that, the standard ‘IMG SRC’ tag worked fine.
Some kind of conflict issue. Your post shows blank with my firefox but it shows up with Chrome
This photo should create a double madness factor. Not only is he a shell of a man because of Bowe, but the VA will screw over his healthcare because of Obama.
To paraphrase Edmund Burke: "An unpitied sacrifice in a contemptible struggle".
Question for Freepers: Do you make the same exchange if Bergdahl was a normal POW?
Israel once exchanged something like 800 Hezbollah fighters for the dead body of one of their soldiers. Something like that certainly sends an important message to one’s own troops - you will not be left behind.
I hope this kid gets killed by the knock out game.
My prayers and heart goes out to the family of this hero.
Someone may fixate on Bowe and his family.Too bad.

Mark sustained a penetrating gunshot wound to the head on July 8, 2009 while serving in Afghanistan. He has very limited communicatin skills and spent 2.5 years undergoing extensive Rehabiliation at the James A Haley Veteran’s Hospital in Tampa, FL. In December 2011, Mark and our family finally returned home. Please take a moment to read about his progress and about our family’s journey.
What I do object to is Bergdahl not immediately being arrested and sent to Leavenworth for desertion and treason.
The military knew where he was for years. They could have “rescued” him but didn’t think he was worth “saving”.
This was a political move, not a military move.
Another soldier who claims to have been part of a 35-man mission to retrieve Bergdahl, wrote in a blog posting, Here is what I know, not from hearsay, but because I was there. Bergdahl became a sympathizer, walked off his post to seek out the Taliban in order to join their ranks, to help and live with them.

If an honest military investigation starting from when Bergdahl disappeared showed him to be a deserter, then I absolutely object to the exchange. If he could have been captured (some would call it “rescue”), then tried by court martial and punished appropriately, I would not object.
But to release 5 men who are sworn enemies - illegal combatants, to boot - for a deserter is treason in and of itself, IMO.
It was an “Ace In the Hole”, meant to be used at the right time to deflect from another scandal.
