My father rarely said anything about the war, since he was a Pharmacists Mate (Corpsman) and aboard ship in the Pacific (nasty crap complete with torpedoes)...but after I was a nurse and got my commission during Viet Nam....he would just give me that look...that......”I know that you know that I know that you know”......kind of look..asnd no words needed to be said after that

Your dad looks great! Makes me miss mine.
Got off the thread to finish watching “Band Of Brothers”. Kleenex mandatory.
Mark Levin’s great humor is one of the many reasons I listen to his programs on rewind nightly. I laugh out loud every night. I feel that he is almost like a father to me, in that he is wise, kind, knowledgeable..I learn so much from him. And I happen to be older than him, too.
Thanks; I’m lucky to have him this long. I have the metal-boxed DVD set of “BoB”, but Dad didn’t want to watch it, years ago. Hard to even imagine what horrors they all went thru, everyday.
York’s got the NSRA Street Rods (6-8,000+ cars and attendees) here again for the weekend, so I’m glad we did the graves visit yesterday. Traffic’s very heavy out there.
