If the BSA were really “standing firm†against gay troop leaders, they wouldn’t have elected a new President who said he would have voted to ALLOW such leaders. Although Gates says he’s going to leave the issue alone, I don’t believe that for a second. The gay lobby is planting in-the-closet gay leaders who will come out and then squeal like stuck pigs when they are kicked out. (This just happened.) There will be an outcry every time this happens and eventually the BSA will be worn down and allow gay troop leaders. Count on it.
This is just the initial seep. The policy didn’t officially go into effect, and Trail Life didn’t launch, until 5 months ago.
Next year is likely to see triple that decline, if not much more.

Why is the Christian Post running propaganda?
The headline implies...one would reasonably think there were a lot of BSA members and their families who were protesting the non inclusion of gays.
And that’s tremendous, because there is a low single digit percentage of gays in the population, as always has been.
And one would assume it is a tenth of that within organizations dedicated to formation of boys to men, that is for at least a decade until it is completely taken over as would appear to be the goal.
But not one year.
Here’s the first line:

Which is actually the cause of the decline, one would reasonably think.

I had several people tell me they wouldn’t let their youg sons join the “gay” scouts. Back 40 yrs ago or so, I used to hitchhike across america to see the country. It never failed that around dusk some faggot would offer you a ride. Fortunately, I jumped out of a few cars and never got directly accosted by these deviates. If being homo is so natural, now why do they seek to draw young boys into their despicable lifestyle? Oh, that’s right, they can procreate on their own!
The personal survey results conducted in 2013 showed by a 2 to 1 margin that the membership of BSA wanted to KEEP the “don't ask, don't tell” policy with regards to homos.
Then the Councils went and selected their delegates and in many cases (WLACC and other lib enclaves) denied access to these delegates by the membership so their voices/preferences could be heard and then supposedly, vote accordingly.
That the delegates then voted 2 to 1 in favor of changing the policy says just about all one needs to know.

I do not understand how the BSA brought in a president who has publicly stated that all entities, not just the BSA, should allow openly gay leaders to lead children and people. He has publicly stated that he wants the BSA to have openly gay leaders.
This country has embraced the sick perversion of homosexuality as normal, that we go on to celebrate this sickness and promote it, and then we go on to create hate crimes or create an environment where people lose their jobs if they disagree with this sickness.
Homosexuality is a judgement on America and this president of the BSA is a tool to further the judgement.
This needs to be pointed out consistently - homosexuality will not bring judgement upon our country; homosexuality IS the judgement. Romans 1:26 starts with “For this reason” and continues “God gave them up to vile passions.” “..men with men committing what is shameful”; so this is a judgement upon our society.
It also continues and says that they give approval to others for more and more evil acts. We see this today with our legislatures accepting homosexual marriages and the teaching of it as acceptable in the schools.
Note also that Romans 1:32 points out that those who approve of such conduct are just as guilty as those who engage in it.
Get your children out of the BSA (and out of the public schools.)
Mitt Romney, who has supported gay scout leaders since at least 1994, took action against the anti-gay Boy Scout volunteers during the 2002 Winter Olympics that he headed.

Ban queers from Scouting period and watch your numbers go back up. Keep your “open (back) door” policy and watch them continue to dwindle until you become irrelevant.

In my Cub Scout troop alone, we've seen a 50% reduction, year-over-year. And I've heard the same thing anecdotally from other troops.
The real kicker is going to come during recruitment drives. The local school board has decided to *not* allow the Cub Scouts to recruit at the schools, starting this year. We're trying to figure out alternative plans, but I think that this will be the death knell for our local pack.
I feel sorry for the kids, but I don't blame the School Board for their decision, either. Actions have consequences.
