I make that point all the time. The big health fear in the US used to be smoking -- it was killing us!! So they made it expensive and restricted, and there is a lot less smoking. Now the big health fear in the US is obesity -- it's killing us!!

There is a definite connection. All the people I know who still smoke are quite skinny.
