This week I present a themed Jukebox suggested by FReeper Titan Magroyne that I think spans enough genres and decades that everyone might find something to enjoy. So, without further ado; this weeks theme is "Devils, Angels & Demons". I open with a cut from Leslie West's and Felix Pappalardi's band from 1973 dedicated to Jimi Hendrix.

SERGEANT PRESTON OF THE YUKONIt started out as Challenge of the Yukon in 1938 on the same Detroit radio station that gave The Green Hornet and The Lone Ranger to the world. It ran until 1947 from Detroit until Quaker Oats became the sponsor, and then it moved to ABC television for two years. Oddly enough, in its early days, the focus was on King, the dog, not Sergeant Preston. The show was repackaged as Sergeant Preston of the Yukon and came back to TV in 1955 for a three year run.
The theme for the show is the overture to the opera Donna Diana by Emil von Reznicek, who is remembered for little else.
