WINGS”Wings” was a Thursday night staple on NBC, following “Frazier”.
The theme was a soft jazz work-up of the first subject of the finale of Schubert’s Piano Sonata in A, D. 959. That finale is one of the most amazing things Franz ever wrote, a kind of endless song. Just close your eyes and go with it.
