I may have figured out why the Department of Veterans Affairs had such difficulty finding time to treat patients. Its because it was working overtime to give its chapels a religiously neutral makeover.
But as VA officials in Iron Mountain, Mich., learned, one mans renovation is another mans desecration.
Some folks in Iron Mountain became infuriated earlier this month when they discovered that statues of Jesus and Mary, along with a cross and altar, were hidden behind a curtain in the chapel of the VA hospital there.
The chapel still has stained glass windows, though for how long is unclear. A VA hospital spokesman told me they are still trying to figure out what to do with the windows.

On Site inspections..........come on
For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels.
Luke 12:9
But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.
AMEN! The VA scandal will continue to grow. The VA has taken huge amounts of money...I will get that figure, to serve the administrators and their staffs. A minor amount of money has gone for actual health services to our Veterans. I am a Vet but have not used their services. We all must stay on this case and demand that the people “on the take” in the VA are prosecuted for their crimes.
This is obamas directive. Remember his very first time he was at a religious school and they covered up all the religious symbols.
The funniest thing about it is that the statues don’t generally offend Jews or even Muslims. They offend athiests. Athiests that go nuts over these things, which I find funny because to an athiest it should have absolutely no meaning at all.
