We all know there is plenty of talent out there of all stripes and shades.
However, unlike the law and politics, technology is not very kind products made by the untalented...and should tese companies hire Obama-level idiots...well, they’ll just turn into Microsofts.

Oh, you don't need to worry, Silicon Valley won't be going into the hood to hire the next generation of programmers. Both they and Jesse Jackson know that, and Jackson couldn't care less if blacks actually get the jobs. It's about money for himself, these companies will drop a few million into his coffer. Jackson will publicly declare them "not racist" and the problem solved, and both parties will live happily ever after...
Nothing preventing Jezze from running his ideas past a few VC’s up on Sand Hill road and doing a startup in Oakland.
Can hire all the non-whites he wants there.

The company my brother works for forced his division to hire a black kid with 2 years of experience to fill a role. There were two guys with ten plus years who wanted it. Now everyone has to pick up the slack so the unqualified can make the grade. Thank HR and their diversity BS. Imagine working 10 years while some colored chump steps in, not based on merit, but color.
Maybe Common Core can be used to redefine hardware and software engineering so that more non-whites can understand their inherently and structurally racist principles.

My wife is one of 7 police/fire/ems dispatchers. The department works 4 x 10 hrs with 3 days off. It takes 15 weeks to train a dispatcher to the level required to handle a shift independently with basic competency. My wife knows that one dispatcher is planning to leave. One is pregnant and may not come back. Two others are "unhappy". It is very possible that 4 of 7 will be gone soon. Not a good situation considering how hard it is to hire an applicant that can even complete basic training.
