I thought Carney was a major improvement over Robert Gibbs, who was very obnoxious. Carney was nothing in comparison.

But more infuriating because of his babble-on non-responses. For a year or so. By then, most intelligent honest people had quit hoping for improvement and wrote 'em off.

Both Gibbs and Carney have that annoying smarmy and smug quality to them. I’ll add Jen Psaki to that list as well.
