In reality, I'd say he wanted to silence the guy. No way can he appear before Congress or go to the media. He's now a prisoner in his own country.

Wow. First the deputy chief of station in Afghanistan is taken out the hard painful way, then the CIA station in Libya is exposed and now the Obama admin ends the career of the station chief in Afghanistan too.
