President Obama was welcomed by the Black Knight of the Hudson for his speech at West Point on Wednesday, but less than 25 percent of the cadets gave him a standing ovation upon his introduction, the Daily Mail reported.
Receiving tepid applause and a short standing ovation from less than one-quarter of the audience upon his introduction, Obama argued for a contradictory foreign policy that relies on NATO and the United Nations while insisting that America must always lead on the world stage, the paper reported.
During his speech, which the Wall Street Journal called consistent with that of every post-Cold War administration, the president also took a swipe at critics, saying: I believe in American exceptionalism with every fiber of my being. But what makes us exceptional is not our ability to flout international norms and the rule of law; its our willingness to affirm them through our actions.
Much of the presidents speech focused on using military force only as a last resort and working with allies to solve global conflicts.

The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
The 25% must have realized Big Brother was watching.
These 25% will get the top Military jobs in the Kingdom Of Obama
They be”Dissin’ The Man”?????????????
Butt kissers, for sure.
Beneficiaries of the end of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”?
The King will make sure they get paid back for their lack of enthusiasm.
Future JAG officers?
“Joel, you look like a smart kid. I’m going to tell you something I’m sure you’ll understand. You’re having fun now, right? Right, Joel? The time of your life. In a sluggish economy, never ever f*** with another man’s livelihood. Now, if you’re smart, and I hope you are, you’re not gonna make me come back here.”
How many of the 25% support al Qaeda,
the Moslem Brotherhood, the coup d’etat
against the US Constitution
started by Pelosi and Obama for Islam
and the DNC racketeering from Samoa to Chicago to Syria?
Yeah, but 100% of the attending press gave him a standing ‘O’
Watching ‘The Five’ on Fox right now and Beckley is blowing his top like I’ve never seen before because his boy got dissed at West Point — and all the world saw it.
We must lead by committing to climate change, essentially.
Maybe they stood up and applauded because they thought he was done.
Any idiot that applauded that asshat should be beaten with a bag of Oranges.
How many of those applauding are gay/bi/trans?
Just watched the whole thing (almost).
Watch it on PBS you tube today, it’ll be gone soon, just like the boo s at Hillary’s appearance at the Firemens’ gathering on 911 MSG, and any ANY audio of that Kennedy girl - Caroline- our Ambassador to Japan
It is a lecture of how, until Obama came along, all our military was doing was killing people.
Not a hint of recognition to the Constitution,
And ramblings about Global Warming and having to comply with the World’s demands about it in order to gain respect
- to fact finding graduates of one of the World’s finest engineering programs.
There were no shots of the audience to speak of and the few smatterings of applause during the 45 minute scolding were so embarrassing that FOX News cut the sound.
PBS cut the end off pretty quick while the lack of enthusiasm of the applause was embarrassing, don’t know about cause and effect.
The Cadets did stand when Obama talked about a medal recipient a recent graduate’s sister is now a cadet. She got a much more enthusiastic response than ANY thing BO received from this fine group.
Perhaps that’s what they mean.
Otherwise, I suspect they’re overstating it.
But military officers respond to the wishes of the country, and they have to pay Obama respect in public.
It is we who have to elect good leaders for them.
That’s our job.
The rump rangers. Expect chaos and incompetence as oboma places the mediocre in high places
Notice how his whole speech was about him and his critics?
Me me me me me, my critics, me me me me.
